Every vendor pays a flat $79/month placement fee to be on a preferred pack. You earn $55.30 per active slot. There's no fee per booking, no commission on work performed, and the math is the same on every tier.

How does this make me money?
For every active vendor slot on your pack, you earn 70% of that vendor's monthly placement fee. Slots are $79/month flat, so you earn $55.30 per active slot every month. A pack with 10 active vendors is $553/month recurring, every month, for as long as those vendors stay on your pack. Vendors typically stay for years.
Is the agent placement fee a referral fee or a kickback?
No. You earn a fixed share of a monthly placement fee that the vendor pays whether or not any bookings occur. The fee is not tied to any specific transaction, referral, or closing. This is structurally distinct from a referral kickback and is the basis of our RESPA compliance position. Read the full RESPA disclosure.
Do I have to upgrade to Pro?
No. The Free tier supports up to 25 active client portals and 12 vendors on your pack. Most agents run their business on Free for years. Upgrade to Pro when you hit a real ceiling: more than 25 clients at once, more than 12 vendors, or you need branded portal customization.
What does the Brokerage tier cost?
It depends on team size and what you need. Most brokerages we work with are between 10 and 500 agents. Drop a note to hello@closingpack.ai with your team size and we'll set up a 20-minute call.
What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?
Pro converts to Free at the end of your billing period. You keep all your clients and your pack. The only changes: client limit drops back to 25 (existing over-limit clients keep working, you just can't add more), vendor slot limit drops to 12, and branded portal customization reverts.
How do I get paid?
Agent earnings are paid out monthly on the first business day of the following month, via ACH to the bank account you connect during onboarding. Earnings appear in your dashboard in real time so you can see what's accruing each month.
What about taxes?
Agent earnings are reported as 1099 income. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, ClosingPack issues a 1099-NEC. Your earnings are not subject to withholding. We recommend setting aside 25-30% for federal and state taxes, but consult your accountant.
Will pricing change later?
Agent Pro pricing may evolve. Anyone who joins at a given rate is locked in at that rate for at least 12 months. Vendor placement fees are also subject to change for new slots; existing slots keep their original rate.
